Using Gratitude To Change Your Life

Gratitude is such a healing energy. It allows for an expanded space for things to be created. It can heal your life. It can create new things and new experiences in your life. But you have to give it the conscious space to show up, meaning you have to practice it daily.

When you "practice” gratitude it's just like anything else. You have to do it in order for it really to work. You can't work out once a week and expect to get fit, just like you can't eat one salad and expect to lose weight. You have to consciously choose it each and every day. Giving it space to create in your life. Actively searching out the energy of it to really truly create life change.

What happens when you consciously choose gratitude?

Your life shifts and changes! Where you once had a frustrating drive to work becomes an easy careless commute. Relationships that felt strained and overwhelming change to easy conversations with sprinkles of joy. When you consciously choose gratitude every single day your life changes. It creates space for things to show up differently. This world has taught us to expect and project that everything always stays the same. Difficult things will always be difficult and strained relationships will always feel strained, but that is not true. It's the space you encompass that creates the way things show up. When you learn to be grateful you see that anything can transform magically!

How can it benefit you?

Well, how can it not! When you practice gratitude you are consciously choosing to be grateful. You are telling the universe how very glad you are for life. You are sending out positive vibrations this always sends back positive vibrations. It creates a path for things to be easier and better for you to be consciously choosing what you would like to show up! It's an amazing dance of wonderment that allows the universe to know exactly what creates more for you.

How do you start practicing gratitude?

You start by just being grateful for everything! Grateful for your warm bed, your great night sleep, the warm water that flows from your tap. You start by reminding yourself how many amazing things you have available to you right this very minute. From there start consciously choosing to change your dialogue. Instead of dreading the terrible drive to work send gratitude for the easy commute. Instead of expecting a family member to be a dreaded hag send gratitude for her being kind and nice. I know it sounds like it would never work, but I'm here to tell you it does! You can change the way your life shows up just by projecting gratitude at the outcome! It's super powerful! Don't believe me? Try it for a day or two and you will find that you can change your day just by being grateful for something different.

I just finished recording 30 days of choosing gratitude where for 30 whole days we choose to have gratitude for all sorts of things including choices, transformations, relationships and so much more.
