Stop Projecting And Expecting
Updated: Feb 11, 2020
Stop projecting and expecting...
Stand in what you know.
I can not tell you how many times a day I talk to people about this.
This is key to getting control of your life. You have to stop expecting people to be something they are not. You have to stop assuming, wishing and hoping and get into what’s real and true.
You have to stand in what you know so your not projecting something at someone without being aware of what they are capable of and who they are.
This weekend when I was at an event someone was telling me something and what she was saying was how she was expecting someone to do something, but in her heart, she knew differently. Now she didn’t say that in her heart she knew differently what she said was, “we’re hoping it’s going to turn out this way.”
And I asked, "well, is it?" And it was so heavy. Which instantly tells me it’s not, heavy is always a lie. So I point it out, you want it to be this way and I get it, but the reality is that’s not going to happen. So if you face the reality you can 1. save yourself from heartache and disappointment and 2. you can start making a different decision that will work out better than wishing and hoping.
The thing is, the longer you loop in the projection of what “should” happen or what you want to happen the longer you will be a prisoner to “what happened.”
You have to go beyond.
You have to go beyond what you thought, projected and expected so you can know what is real and true.
Save the heartbreak and upset.
The truth will always set you free.
You have to believe that you can out-create anything because you can.
